Dean's Council

The purpose of the Social Sciences Dean’s Council is to build a network of leadership volunteers with the following primary goals:

  • Create awareness: Learn about and communicate the mission, vision, goals and programs of the school.
  • Be an active advocate for the School: Tell others (business and personal contacts) about your involvement with the school.
  • Build relationships: Identify and introduce individuals, corporations and foundations with common interests in advancing the school’s goals; host/co-host events for school, departments and/or centers.
  • Generate support: Consider the school as a priority for philanthropic and volunteer support.
